Morgan Fairchild was born Patsy Anne McClenny, February 3 1950. She is an American Actress. Through the 80s, she gained a cult following with her roles on several television shows. Her fame was for portraying a glamorous persona. Fairchild began her acting career between 1973 and 1977 during the run of CBS' Search for Tomorrow show, a daytime soap that starred Jennifer Pace. She was Jenna Wade in 1978, the first actress to play Jenna Wade had done such a role. The following year, she was the lead role in Flamingo Road (NBC), for which she won the Golden Globe Award nomination for the top Actress in a Television Series Drama. Fairchild is also a performer in theatre and has played in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she won an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series. She also serves as a SAG-AFTRA Board Member.
