The winner was entitled, as because of this win, to participate as a contestant in the Miss Georgia Pageant in June of 1985. The 22nd of June, she was also the winner of the tournament. Mohr was then invited in September of 1985, to be a part of Georgia at Miss America 1986, a pageant that was staged at Atlantic City, New Jersey. She was not, however, a Top-10 finalist for the national title.
