Elizabeth Olsen

KimElizabeth Chase Olsen (born February 16, 1989) is an American actress from the United States. Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She started acting at four years old. She was in her first film performance in the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011, for which she was acclaimed and nominated for an Critics' Choice Film Award among other accolades, then she was cast in the film horror Silent House. Olsen was awarded the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2011, and was awarded the award two years later at New York University. Olsen has gained international recognition due to her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise and was featured in the films of superheroes Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), as well as the miniseries WandaVision (2021). She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award as well as receiving a Golden Globe Award for her performance in WandaVision. She also starred as an executive producer in the drama series Sorry for Your Loss (2018-2019), winning a Critics' Pick Television Award nomination for her performance as a widow.
